Kansas City, Mo. (Sept. 9, 2009) — AMC Entertainment Inc. (AMC), a leading theatrical exhibition and entertainment company, will start the presale of tickets for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" on Friday, Sept. 11.
The highly anticipated second installment of Stephenie Meyers' successful Twilight book series opens Friday, Nov. 20.
By this Friday, AMC will offer guests the chance to buy advance tickets for the movie at certain locations and online. Tickets will be made available for the 12:01 a.m. showtime on Thursday night (Nov. 19) / Friday morning (Nov. 20).
In addition, the 7 p.m. showtimes on Friday, Nov. 20, Saturday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 22 will also be on sale by this Friday. Additional information regarding specific AMC locations will be available this Friday.
The first installment of Meyers' book, "Twilight," grossed more than $191 million at the box office in 2008.
